100% recyclable packaging bag Double LDPE laminated pouches Beyin packing
BOPE is a new type of material that can replace PET, PA and BOPP. It can be directly laminated with PE to form stand up pouches, side gusset bags, flat bottom bags, and even vacuum pouches. Packaging bags made of double PE can be 100% recycled as number 4 LDPE product.
The plastic bags on the market are not all made of single-layer plastic. Generally, the relatively stiff packaging pouches are made of a variety of plastic films, such as potato chip bags, coffee bags, tea pouches, nuts bags, powder bags, dried fruit bags, mask packaging bags and so on, and packaging bags made of single-layer plastic are relatively soft, while packaging pouches made of multilayer plastic are relatively stiff and have higher mechanical strength and resistant stretching, friction and puncture , and can be directly contact with food.
Plastic bags made of single-layer plastic are generally marked with recyclable labels, and users can classify them according to the marked recyclable labels to facilitate later recycling.
The Society of Plastics Industry (SPI) has formulated the symbol code for the types of plastics used in plastic products, marking the number into the middle of the triangle composed of three arrows representing the cycle, the plastic bags manufacturer will label the triangle recycling mark on plastic products, numbers 1 to 7 and English abbreviations are used to refer to the types of resins used in plastic.
"01"—PET (polyethylene terephthalate). It is often used to make mineral water bottles and beverage bottles, can resistant heat up to 70°C. so,it’s not suitable for holding hot water, heating or exposing to the sun, otherwise it may precipitate harmful substances to the human body. Recommendation: Throw away these bottles when they are used up, and do not use them as drinking water containers.
"02"—HDPE (High Density Polyethylene). It is often used to make plastic containers for detergent and bath products. Most of the disposable packaging bags used in supermarkets are made of HDPE. Features: It can withstand a high temperature of 110°C, and can be reused after careful cleaning, but it is usually not easy to clean the original detergent, and very easy to germinate bacteria. Recommendation: Don't use it to make water cups, don't use it to hold food.
"03"—PVC (Polyvinyl Chloride). It is often used to make shoes, raincoats, building materials, plastic pipes, etc., but is rarely used to make food packaging. Features: Excellent plasticity, low price, heat resistance up to 81℃. It is easy to produce harmful substances at high temperature, which is difficult to clean and easy to remain. Recommendation: Do not use this kind of plastic packaging for food, and it cannot be reused. If you need to use it, you should avoid it to be heat , and never use it as a drinking cup.
"04"—LDPE (Low Density Polyethylene) is often used to make cling film. Features: Not strong heat resistance. Generally, qualified PE cling film will melt when the temperature exceeds 110°C, leaving some plastic preparations that cannot be decomposed by the human body. In addition, when food is wrapped with plastic wrap and heated, the fat in the food can easily dissolve harmful substances in the plastic wrap. Recommendation: When using a microwave oven to heat food, first remove the wrapped plastic wrap.
"05"-PP (polypropylene). Often used to make microwave lunch boxes and water cups. Features: It is resistant to high temperatures of 130°C and has good thermal stability. It is the only plastic box that can be placed in a microwave oven and can be reused after careful cleaning. Suggestion: PP cups are already very reliable plastic cups, so you can use them with confidence. However, the body of some microwave lunch boxes is made of PP, but the lid is made of other materials, so special attention should be paid to remove the lid if necessary and then use the microwave to heat it.
"06"—PS (polystyrene). It is often used to make bowls of instant noodle boxes and foaming snack boxes. Features: Heat-resistant and cold-resistant, but cannot be placed in a microwave oven to avoid the release of chemicals due to excessive temperature. It is not resistant to acid and alkali substances. Polystyrene which is harmful to the human body will be decomposed in an acid and alkali environment, which is easy to cause cancer. Recommendation: Try to avoid using fast food boxes to pack hot food, do not use fast food boxes to hold acidic beverages such as orange juice, and do not heat the fast food boxes directly in the microwave.
"07"—PC and other categories. Commonly used to make milk bottles, space cups, etc. However, it has been controversial due to the presence of bisphenol A. The higher the temperature, the more bisphenol A remaining in the PC will be released. Recommendation: try to don’t use plastic cups made of PC.
Single-layer plastic products can be recycled according to the marked recycling mark, although multi-layer laminated packaging pouches are also laminated by different recyclable plastics, they can theoretically be recycled, but they are affected by technology and equipment, therefore, it is difficult to peel and recycle the plastic with different cycle conditions.
For example, the common spice pouches are laminated with two layers of PET and PE, because if only PE is used, the packaging will be too soft and not resistant to puncture and can not be large-area printed. The addition of PET solves these problems. , So that the packaging bag is firmer and stiffer, and the printed patterns are more exquisite. However, PET is recycled according to 01 , while PE is recycled according to 04.Actually, this kind of laminated packaging pouch cannot be directly recycled .
The kraft paper packaging pouch is also not made of a single layer of kraft paper. There are also composite plastic films on the inside and outside. The inner layer is usually laminated with FDA-approved food grade PE or CPP that can directly contact food. And in order to obtain a more exquisite printing effect and higher mechanical strength, usually laminated PET, OPP, at outside of kraft paper, this is also difficult to actually recycle.
Beyin packing, as a responsible company, is constantly investing in research and development eco-friendly material, hoping to make a contribution to environmental protection. Recently we finally found a kind of material named BOPE that can be used as the outer film. This material has higher mechanical strength than ordinary PE, stretch resistance, puncture resistance, and friction resistance. It can directly replace PET, OPP and PA, and it can be used to laminated with ordinary PE , so that both the inner and outer layers are made of LDPE material and can be directly recycled according to 04.
BOPE film is a film designed through a specific polyethylene material (PE) formulation and produced through an improved Biaxially oriented process, so it is called Biaxially oriented polyethylene. It has the environmental advantages of light weight and recyclable single packaging material. It has become an important way out for countries all over the world to solve the environmental protection problems of plastics with the concept of circular economy.
BOPE has strong impact resistance and puncture resistance at low temperatures; it can provide excellent heat-seal and lamination properties, and realize a single structure of all PE. Its toughness, stiffness, and heat-sealability are better than those of PET and OPP, which are commonly used outer film plastics. so you don't need to worry about its solidity and stiffness, and the printing.Products made of BOPE and PE can be made into stand up pouches, gusset bags and flat bottom bags, and can also be made into vacuum bags.
Beyin packing has always been committed to the research and development of environmentally friendly materials, and is committed to doing its best to reduce the harm of plastic products to nature.
