What are Flat Bags?

Flat bags lay flat prior to filling but can be easily erected for use. They are ideal for powders, granules, snacks, grains and other loose fill products. BEYIN’s flat bags feature strong and flexible packaging constructed from post-consumer recycled resins. Meanwhile, flat plastic bags as main materials choice such as PETE and PP.

Comparing PETE vs PP Flat Bag Materials

Polyethylene Terephthalate (PETE) and Polypropylene (PP) enable high-quality, recyclable flat bags:

PETE is shatter-resistant with good moisture and gas barrier qualities. It maintains protection for products like chips, cookies and cereals. PETE maximizes shelf life while being fully recyclable #1 plastic.

PP is lower cost and retains flexibility even at colder temperatures than PETE. PP flat bags seal strongly around granular fertilizers or salts without breaking. This rigid yet flexible resin can also be recycled #5 plastic stream.
