Custom Flexible Packaging Production Process

1.Cylinders Making

The production process begins with plate making. Customer designs are separated by color layers, which are then intricately engraved onto cylinders or plates. This process can take between 3 to 7 days, depending on the complexity of the design.

2.Color Confirmation

To match the exact color specifications required by our clients, we offer three options:

  • Existing Sample Match:if a client provides an existing sample, we precisely match the color to the sample provided.
  • Pantone Matching:clients can provide Pantone color codes, which we use to accurately match the colors.
  • Design Proof Match:if no sample or Pantone code is available, we print the client’s design on photographic paper, send a photo of the result to the client for confirmation, and proceed with color matching based on the approved photographic print.

3.Printing

The client’s design is printed onto the outer plastic film layer. We utilize both digital and gravure printing methods. Digital printing involves the CMYK four-color process, while gravure printing requires the use of the previously prepared cylinders. The printing is executed using colors confirmed by the client.

4.Lamination

After printing, the outer layer is laminated with other film materials. This step combines different layers to enhance the physical properties and barrier protection of the packaging.

5.Soliding

The laminated product undergoes a curing process to stabilize and bond the layers together more securely, preventing delamination and peeling.

6.Converting

The cured and laminated material is then cut and heat-sealed into bags according to the sizes and types specified by the client. This step shapes the final product into its desired form.

7.Quality Control

After manufacturing, each product undergoes rigorous quality checks to ensure it meets the required specifications. Only those that pass quality control are cleared for packaging.

8.Packaging

Finished products are packed in cardboard boxes and reinforced with wrap film for added protection during transit. If special requirements are noted, products may also be packed on pallets and secured with wrap film.

9.Shipping

We offer door-to-door delivery services. Additionally, if needed, we can assist with customs clearance and direct delivery to the customer’s location.
