1.What are rice pouches used for?

As a staple food most commonly consumed by humans, rice mainly contains carbohydrates, proteins, fats, and is rich in B vitamins. After a long period of transportation and storage, due to the influence of temperature, moisture, etc., the starch, fat and protein in the rice will undergo various changes, causing the rice to lose its original color, aroma, and taste, and the nutrients and eating quality will decrease, even produce toxic and harmful substances (such as aflatoxin, etc.). Generally, the storage of rice should be at a low temperature below 15 ℃,  and should pay attention to block moisture and oxygen,that’s the role of the rice bags play. The rice bags mainly help the rice to isolate the moisture and oxygen in the air, and extend the storage time and  assist the transportation.

3.What is rice paper pouch?

Rice paper bags are packaging bags made of kraft paper and plastic film. Because the paper is not resistant to wear and puncture, we will laminate a layer of PET or BOPP , which is puncture-resistant, friction-resistant, and air-tight,on the outer layer of kraft paper.The printing will also be completed on this plastic film.And for food safety, we will also laminate a food-grade PE film or CPP film on the inner layer of kraft paper. If you have higher requirements for the protection level, we will also recommend to add a layer of aluminum-plated film between kfaft paper and inner film layer, which can better prevent moisture and oxygen, and avoid light and taste.

4.Are rice pouches waterproof?

Yes, the rice packaging bag is a composite packaging bag, which is laminated with multiple layers of films, each of which has a waterproof function. In addition, it can also achieve moisture-proof, oxygen-proof, taste-preserving, and storage-time functions.

5.Are plastic rice bags recyclable?

Yes, plastic rice bags are mostly made of PET, PE, OPP, CPP and other films. These films can be recycled. For example, PET is Plastic Number 1 recyclable material , PP is Plastic Number 5, Plastic Number 2-HDPE, Plastic Number 4-LDPE.

6.Can you produce biodegradable rice pouches?

Yes.Most of the degradable packaging bags are PLA or starch-based, but this degradable material can only be degradable in a single layer, which is not very useful for composite food packaging bags. The degradable packaging bags produced by our Beyin packing are different from ordinary degradable packaging bags. All the layers of  plastics film of the packaging bag can be degraded, and even zippers can also be degraded.

7.What type of rice pouches are there?

Depending on the capacity of the rice bag, the type of bag used is also different. For example, if the capacity of the rice bag you need is less than 500g, the stand up bag is the most popular type. This kind of bag can stand on the shelf by itself, which is easy to display and carry. If you need a rice bag with a capacity of 1kg~5kg, the most common bag types are flat bags and side gusset bags. If the packaging capacity is more than 5kg, the flat bag type is usually selected. When the capacity is more than 1KG, in order to facilitate carrying, we usually recommend adding a handle on the packaging bag, which is convenient for taking and carrying. There are also a variety of handles. There are crescent-shaped handles that are directly digging into the packaging bag, which is being strengthened, and white, yellow or orange plastic handles can also be added. You can also do clear window design on the package, and the clear  windows can be various shapes.

8. Why are some rice packaging bags vacuum?

Always hear some people say that the rice that I bought home is not good taste, and some people say that the insects are found in the bags of rice. Because of these problems, people will question the quality of the merchant's products and reduce their trust. We believe that many rice producers have had a headache because of this.

 Well the vacuum packaging can alleviate this problem. Many rice bags are vacuum-packed into brick bags, and then packed into outer bags. The inner vacuum bags are side gusset bags. After vacuuming, they can be flattened into bricks, so they are also called brick bags. Rice vacuum packaging bags normally use the materials PA/PE, the thickness is from 100 to 200 microns/side. Because PA(NYLON) has very strong gas barrier properties, it is not easy to cause damage, puncture and other problems during long-term transportation . It is much stronger than ordinary PET and BOPP, with strong air isolation performance and waterproof,moisture-proof and oxidation-proof, it can also play a certain protective role in a humid environment, so that the rice will not get damp due to the weather. At the same time, it also has a certain preservation function, which can keep the rice in its original state and let people have a longer time to enjoy the delicious rice. PE is a typical thermoplastic material with strong low temperature resistance. If the packed rice exceeds 10kg, it is recommended that PET laminated PA laminated PE to increase the mechanical properties of the packaging bag. In addition, the vacuum packaging is self-contained, which is visually more beautiful and high-end, which virtually improves the quality of rice.

The shelf life of ordinary rice is only a few months, the longest is only one year. But the shelf life of vacuum-packed rice is 18 months, which is nearly twice as long as ordinary rice!

9.How to store rice pouches in the warehouse?

Keep it in a dry place and avoid long-term exposure to the sun to avoid fading, and don’t stack it too high to avoid increasing the frosting between the bags result to the ink fading.
